An EXCEED microneedling treatment or collagen induction uses fine, medical grade needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This process stimulates your skins natural healing response, encouraging collagen and elastin production - gradually creating skin that is firmer, smoother and more even in tone and texture.

Will I be red after my skin needling treatment?

Redness is common for 24-28 hours following your treatment and your skin may feel dry and/or flaky during this time

What does a skin needling treatment feel like? Does it hurt?

Skin needling is a quick treatment. We begin across the forehead as this is the most prickly. Your face will feel warm, similar to a sunburn.

How often should I have a treatment?

We will create a treatment plan for you based on your skin and goals

What does skin preparation involve?

We will advise based on your consultation, skin health and lifestyle but a good guide is 

Physical SPF 50+ daily

Essential fatty acid supplements (Omega 3's) to support skin barrier and for internal hydration 

Water -2 litres per day 

Topical Vitamin A for strengthening, regeneration and collagen production

What do I need to do after my treatment?

Skin needling initiates your body's natural healing response - you want this inflammation for the best results. Do not try to cool your skin while it is going through this healing process.

Avoid makeup, active skincare, heat, saunas, sweat, chemical sunscreen for 24 hours or until redness decreases

Use your aftercare serum and oil and Prologic Bio Cellulose Mask to protect and calm

Wear a physical SPF 50+ daily 

Hydrate your skin with water and omega 3's internally
